Ed Loeb, CFA, brings more than 30 years of investment experience to Port Capital. Ed develops and implements investment strategies for the firm’s individual and institutional clients. Ed also works closely with the firm’s research team to support the firm’s fundamental research efforts. Prior to joining Port Capital, Ed began his career as a member of the research team at Harris Associates. Over his 26 years as a Partner and Portfolio Manager with the firm, Ed managed over $5 billion for the firm’s US strategies.
Ed earned his M.B.A. with honors from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and received a B.A. in Economics with honors from Princeton University.
Ed currently serves on the Executive Committee of Erikson Institute, as well as several other non-profit boards.
